NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old delivery worker for

Blinkit was shot dead in Patna, police said on Sunday.

The victim, identified as Raj Krishna, was

attacked near Saristabad turn and later

succumbed to his injuries while undergoing

treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital

(PMCH)

Secretariat DSP Anu Kumari told reporters that police received information about the shooting and found that the injured man had already been rushed to hospital.

“The investigation is ongoing. This boy worked for Blinkit and was living here on rent,” she said

Central SP City Diksha said the shooting appeared to have followed an altercation

between delivery workers.

“There was some conversation between the delivery people here. An incident occurred in which a boy was shot, and he died during treatment. An FIR is being registered,” she said, adding that officers were still probing whether it was the result of a personal dispute or another motive

The victim, who was unmarried, had recently moved to Patna for work, officials added
