A man identified as Abhishek Mishra, 35, has sparked controversy by posting threatening and objectionable content against the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Udham Singh Nagar on social media. The posts, shared from an account named “Abhishek Mishra International” on Friday, quickly went viral, causing a stir among police personnel.
In his posts, Mishra allegedly used abusive language against the SSP and referred to a person named “Mishra,” claiming that the fight was between the police force and his aides. The situation escalated as Mishra also invoked the name of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, further raising concerns.
Following this, an investigation revealed that Mishra is currently in Chennai. His father Ramnath Mishra has filed a complaint against him at Pantnagar police station, citing his son’s abusive behavior toward family members as well. “Along with Pantnagar police, the cyber cell team has been instructed to investigate the matter thoroughly,” said SP City Manoj Katyal.
Manjunath TC, SSP of Udham Singh Nagar, said, “The man is a psycho. He has cases registered against him in Uttar Pradesh, Andaman, Rajasthan, and other places for similar offenses. Legal action will be taken against him.”
