In a first for any government college in Uttarakhand, Government PG College, Ranikhet, will host a lecture by Nobel Laureate Prof. David J. Wineland, an American Physicist, renowned for his pioneering research in quantum computation and ion trapping. This milestone event is set for November 17, at 9:00 am and will be conducted online in collaboration with the Bhaktivedanta Institute, which serves as a knowledge partner under the team led by Prof. Bharat Pandey, Coordinator of the Science Popularisation Cell.
The lecture, titled “My Journey of Discovery,” will give students and faculty an opportunity to engage with Prof. Wineland’s transformative insights. Principal Prof. Pushpesh Pandey said, “This partnership with Bhaktivedanta Institute exemplifies our dedication to providing world-class scientific learning opportunities for our students.”
