Former Air Force Chief Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria joins BJP, may contest Lok Sabha elections

Former Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal (retd) Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria has joined BJP. In October 2019, he took command of the Air Force. Before that he was Deputy Air Force Chief. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also given this information by posting on social media platform X. Along with Bhadauria, former MP Tirupati Shri Varaprasad Rao also took membership of BJP. Experts say that BJP may include Bhadauria’s name in the next list of candidates. There are speculations that he may be made the candidate from Ghaziabad seat in place of former Army Chief VK Singh.

 

Who is former Air Force Chief RK Bhadauria?

 

RK Singh Bhadauria is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. His father Surajpal Singh was a Master Warrant Officer in the Air Force. His daughter Sonali is also a pilot. He is said to have played a role in bringing Rafale to the country. Let us tell you that after RK Bhadauria, Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary became the Chief of the Air Force. From September 2019 to September 2021, he held the post of Chief of the Air Force. RK Bhadauria was part of the team that was negotiating with France for the Rafale jet.

 

Let us tell you that till now BJP has announced 291 candidates. Soon it may also release the fifth list. So far, candidates have been declared for 51 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates for the remaining seats may be announced in this list. In this list, names of candidates on Ghaziabad and Pilibhit seats can also be cleared.

 

There is discussion that the ticket of Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi can also be cut. The former Air Force chief joined BJP in the presence of BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde and Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Anurag Thakur said that Bhadauria has played a big role in the campaign of self-reliant India. Whereas RK Bhadauria said that he will support the resolution of developed India
