Maharashtra Excels in Gymnastics at the 38th National Games, Clinches Top Honors*

The final day of the 38th National Games witnessed interesting gymnastics competitions, with rhythmic and artistic gymnastics events becoming the center of attraction for spectators.

 

In the Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs Event, Maharashtra’s Parina Rahul Madanpotra secured the gold medal with a score of 25.60. Her teammate Samyukta Prasen Kale won the silver medal with 24.70 points, while Jammu and Kashmir’s Muskan Rana claimed the bronze with 24.35 points.

 

While, the Rhythmic Gymnastics Ribbon Event, Muskan Rana (Jammu & Kashmir) and Samyukta Prasen Kale (Maharashtra) shared the gold medal, both scoring 25.550 points. The bronze medal was jointly awarded to Jammu & Kashmir’s Manya Sharma and Maharashtra’s Parina Rahul Madanpotra, who scored 23.450 points.

 

The Artistic Gymnastics Balance Beam (Women’s), West Bengal’s Ritu Das clinched the gold medal with 11.367 points. Maharashtra’s Satakshi Rakesh Takke secured the silver with 11.067 points, while Odisha’s Pranati Nayak won the bronze with 10.733 points.

 

West Bengal continued its dominance in the Women’s Floor Exercise Event, where Pranati Das won gold with 11.967 points, while her teammate Protishtha Samanta bagged silver with 11.533 points. Delhi’s Sneha Tariyal finished with the bronze medal, scoring 10.800 points.

 

Whereas, in the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Vaulting Table Event, Haryana’s Yogeshwar Singh won the gold medal with 13.500 points. Odisha’s Tapeshwarnath Das secured silver with 12.833 points, while Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharth Verma took bronze with 12.500 points.

 

In the Parallel Bars Event, Odisha’s Rakesh Kumar Patra emerged victorious with a gold medal, scoring 12.600 points. Uttar Pradesh’s Aditya Singh Rana claimed silver with 12.433 points, while Services’ Jatin Kumar Kannaujia secured bronze with 11.967 points.

 

On the other hand, the Horizontal Bar Event, Haryana’s Yogeshwar Singh bagged another gold with 12.367 points. Delhi’s Shayan Sharma finished with silver, scoring 12.233 points, while Uttar Pradesh’s Siddharth Verma won bronze with 11.833 points.

 

The gymnastics events at the 38th National Games were filled with remarkable performances, as athletes from various states showcased their dedication and hard work, making their mark on the competition.
