Pantnagar. As part of the 15-day _Harit Yagya_ campaign being conducted under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Dr. Shivendra Kumar Kashyap, the Ladies Club, Pantnagar organized a large-scale tree plantation programme at the University Centre (NAHEP) campus.
The programme was led by the University’s First Lady, Mrs. Renu Kashyap, who planted saplings and conveyed the message of environmental conservation and the creation of a greener campus. All members of the Ladies Club enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive, contributing actively to the campaign.
On the occasion, Mrs. Renu Kashyap presented saplings to each member of the Ladies Club and encouraged them to plant these saplings around their residences while pledging to nurture and protect them. She emphasized that tree plantation becomes meaningful only when every sapling is cared for regularly and allowed to grow into a healthy tree.
The members of the Ladies Club reaffirmed their commitment to environmental conservation, the development of a green campus, and the promotion of large-scale tree plantation, assuring their active support in making the _Harit Yagya_ campaign a success.
