Bollywood actor Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, died by suicide after jumping off the terrace of a building in Mumbai’s Bandra on Wednesday, police said.
Top police officers reached the spot and no suicide note has been found so far, officials added.
The police are yet to determine the possible reasons behind the suicide.

Malaika’s family members, along with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, arrived at her residence to offer condolences following the news of the suicide.
Anil Arora, who was originally from Punjab, had worked with the Merchant Navy.
Malaika Arora’s parents separated when she was 11-years-old. She and her younger sister, Amrita Rao, who was 6 at the time, were raised by their mother, Joyce Polycarp.
Malaika made her mark in the industry as an actor, model, dancer, and video jockey. She has starred in films like Kaante and EMI. She also performed in songs such as Chaiyya Chaiyya, Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha, Maahi Ve, Kaal Dhamaal, and Munni Badnaam
