GURGAON: On Saturday, Gurgaon police evacuated the Ambience Mall in Gurugram after receiving an anonymous email about a bomb threat. The police immediately took action to Lensure search and sanitisation operations were carried out at the mall.
Nothing suspicious was found during the search. According to a statement released by the Gurgaon police, the anonymous email was received on 17.08.2024, claiming that bombs had been placed in various malls and buildings in Delhi, including the Ambience Mall in Gurugram.
The police acted swiftly and evacuated the mall to prevent any potential harm to the visitors and staff.
Police dog squads and bomb disposal teams
were deployed to thoroughly check the
premises.
The search operation was conducted meticulously, and no suspicious items were discovered. The Gurgaon police urged the public to remain calm and assured them that the
situation was under control.

The police have also requested the public not to spread any misleading or false information related to the bomb threat.
