Vadodra: A sudden wall collapse occurred in Vaghodia area’s Shri Narayan Vidyalaya in Gujarat’s Vadodara. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. It happened during a school break when children were having snacks. Six children from the first floor fell down after the wall collapsed.
The children suffered minor injuries as the classroom was filled with students. A major disaster was averted. The matter has been reported to Vadodara Police, who are now investigating it. They are probing how the school is functioning if the school building is dilapidated.
In a different unrelated incident, an 8-year-old girl was killed, and a woman in her 60s was injured when a section of a wall collapsed from a commercial building onto a nearby hut in Mumbai’s Lower Parel.
