The Netball (Mixed) event at the 38th National Games concluded with thrilling matches, showcasing intense competition and remarkable performances. Haryana emerged as the champions, securing the gold medal with a hard-fought victory over Uttarakhand in the final.
The day began with the morning session, where Pool A matches saw Chhattisgarh defeat Delhi 39-24, while Haryana outplayed Puducherry 36-25. In Pool B, Telangana secured a 26-22 win over Karnataka, and Uttarakhand edged past Assam 34-29, setting the stage for the knockout rounds.
While, the semifinals featured high-stakes battles as Uttarakhand, the Pool B winner, faced Chhattisgarh, the Pool A runner-up, securing a dominant win with a 35-point margin. In the second semifinal, Haryana delivered a commanding performance against Telangana, clinching a 38-23 victory to book their place in the final.
Whereas, the bronze medal match between Chhattisgarh and Telangana ended in a dramatic 31-31 tie, with both teams sharing the third-place honor. The final match witnessed an intense contest between Haryana and Uttarakhand. Displaying exceptional teamwork and skill, Haryana secured a 39-33 victory, claiming the gold medal, while Uttarakhand settled for silver.
