Haryana Triumphs in Skeet Mixed Team Event on the Final Day of Shooting at the 38th National Games

The last day of shooting at the 38th National Games saw an intense battle in the Skeet Mixed Team event, with Haryana emerging victorious after a closely contested final. The gold medal match witnessed Haryana’s Shaan Singh Libra and Raiza Dhillon outshooting Punjab’s Ganemat Sekhon and Bhavtegh Singh Gill, securing the top spot with a score of 41-39. Punjab put up a tough fight but had to settle for silver.

 

In the bronze medal match, Telangana’s Munek Battula and Rashmmi Rathore displayed remarkable precision to edge past Madhya Pradesh’s Rituraj S Bundela and Vanshika Tiwari. With a score of 37, Telangana secured third place on the podium.

 

Earlier in the qualification round, a total of six teams competed, with the top four advancing into the finals. Punjab led the qualifiers with a score of 138+16, followed by Haryana (138+14), Madhya Pradesh (133+4), and Telangana (133+3). However, in the finals, Haryana delivered a stellar performance under pressure to claim the gold, capping off an action-packed shooting competition at the National Games.
