Lok Sabha Elections: Congress’s second list released; 43 names in the list

Congress has released the second list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Names of 43 candidates are included in the second list. The special thing is that the Churu MP, who left BJP and joined Congress 24 hours ago, has also been given the ticket.

In the second list, names of 43 candidates from four states have been announced. There are 10 general, 13 OBC, 10 SC, 9 ST and one Muslim candidates in the list. This list was approved in the meeting of the Central Election Committee of the Congress. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former party president Sonia Gandhi and other members attended the meeting held at the party headquarters.

Gaurav Gogoi will contest elections from Assam

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Jorhat in Assam. Nakul Nath will contest elections from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. Rahul Kaswan will contest from Churu in Rajasthan. Rahul Kanswa had left BJP and joined Congress on Monday itself. Vaibhav Gehlot will contest elections from Jalore.
