The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 new exam date will be released anytime soon. NEET PG 2024 was initially scheduled for June 23, but it was postponed by the Health Ministry as a precautionary measure.
Once the new date is announced, candidates will be able to find the notification on the official website of the National Board of Examinations (NBE) at natboard.edu.in.
The delay in the exam and other reforms in the testing process are part of broader changes being implemented under the new leadership of the National Testing Agency (NTA), now headed by former ISRO Chairman K Radhakrishnan.
Here are the steps to access and download the NEET PG 2024 revised date notification from the NBE website:
1. Visit the NBE website: Open your web browser and go to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) official website by entering the URL: natboard.edu.in.
2. Navigate to the NEET PG 2024 section: On the homepage, look for a tab or link labelled “NEET PG 2024” or navigate through the relevant sections (e.g., “Examinations” or “NEET PG”) to find information related to NEET PG 2024.
3. Access the NEET PG revised date notification: Within the NEET PG 2024 section, locate the notification regarding the revised exam dates. This might be titled “NEET PG 2024 Revised Date Notification” or something similar.
4. Download the notification: Click on the link or button to open the revised notification date. It is usually a PDF document. Once the PDF opens, look for the download icon (often found at the top right corner of the PDF viewer) and click it to download the file to your device.
5. Check the new exam date: Open the downloaded PDF file and review the contents to find the updated exam date for NEET PG 2024.
PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section 61(2) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 read with 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
