Samishta Bhatt will represent Pantnagar in the Indian Parliament

Pantnagar. Inspired by the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, representing the state of Uttarakhand in the biggest program of the Government of India, Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025, held in several phases, Kumari Samishta Bhatt, a student of Pantnagar University, Agriculture College, won. She won the first place by defeating 78 young participants in the state level stage. Samishta Bhatt will represent the state of Uttarakhand and Pantnagar in the Indian Parliament in New Delhi on 1-2 April. Vikasit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 is a platform for the youth parliament to join national discussions. Eight students of the university, Samishtha Bhatt, Shambhavi, Chitransh Devliyal, Anubhav Joshi, Sanskriti Gusain, Kalpana Kuniyal, Anshu Pandey, Manthan Sadana qualified for the state level round and brought laurels to the university. Youth Welfare and Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that the youth will play the main role in nation building. The students also appreciated the guidance of Dr. Amit Kesarwani, Staff Counsellor, University Literary Team and Dean Student Welfare. The Staff Counsellor said that these students have displayed excellent leadership abilities, problem solving skills and understanding of socio-economic and environmental issues. Their achievement is a proof of their hard work and commitment, which makes the university family feel proud. On this achievement, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan congratulated Kumari Samishtha Bhatt and other students on this success and the faculty members also congratulated them.
