University Students’ Academic visit to St. Petersburg University of Veterinary Science, Russia

A delegation of students from the College of Veterinary Sciences recently went on an academic tour to the Saint Petersburg University of Veterinary Science in Russia. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with advanced international veterinary education, research methods, and modern technologies in animal health services. During the visit, students interacted with university teachers and researchers, and observed state-of-the-art laboratories, research centers, and clinical facilities. The students gained valuable insights into the Russian educational system and research methodologies, which will be highly beneficial for their academic and professional lives in the future.

 

The Vice-Chancellor Dr. Manmohan Singh Chauhan described this visit as an important step in the university’s international collaboration strategy. He said that such academic exchanges broaden students’ perspectives, provide knowledge of global-level technologies, and open new dimensions for cooperation in research and education. Officials from Saint Petersburg University of Veterinary Science welcomed the collaboration and expressed hope that academic and research relations between the two institutions will strengthen in the future.
