New Nominations to Rohilkhand University Executive Council; Pantnagar’s Dr. Ajit Singh Nain Gets Key Role

In a significant administrative move, the Chancellor has nominated three members to the Executive Council of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, under Section 20 of the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973.

According to the official communication issued from Raj Bhavan, the newly nominated general members include Prof. Rajni Ranjan Singh from the Department of Education, Delhi University; industrialist Ghanshyam Khandelwal from Bareilly; and Dr. Ajit Singh Nain, former Director of Research at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.

Among the appointees, Dr. Ajit Singh Nain stands out as a prominent local academic figure, bringing with him extensive experience in agricultural research and institutional leadership. His inclusion is expected to strengthen the university’s research orientation and academic governance.

The order specifies that the nomination will remain effective for a period of two years from the date of issuance or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Copies of the order have been forwarded to all concerned members and university authorities for necessary action. The university administration has been instructed to formally inform the nominated members at the earliest.
