Women police officers honoured on Raksha Bandhan in Rudrapur

Rudrapur: Women police personnel were felicitated by Ladies Circle, in association with Round Table, on Thursday on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, in recognition of their courage, commitment, and service to society.

Members of Ladies Circle tied rakhis to women police officers, while children from CD Batra Foundation School presented cultural performances during the event.

“Honesty and commitment of the police force are vital to maintaining peace, safety, and security in society,” said Mitika Batra, chairperson of Ladies Circle, praising the dedication of women personnel.

Round Table chairman Ayush Garg said the contribution of women police personnel was “a source of inspiration” and played an important role in strengthening public safety.

Vaibhav Batra, chairman of CD Batra Foundation School, said the initiative would continue and be extended to deserving women employees of other departments.

The event was attended by Naina Garg, Ishita Sibbal, Aastha Agrawal, Srishti Goyal, Tanya Chhabra, Amit Jindal, Prithvi Chhabra and Gaurav Arora.
