DPS Rudrapur Launches State-of-the-Art Composite Skill Lab

In a major step towards promoting skill-based and futuristic education, Delhi Public School Rudrapur on Saturday inaugurated an advanced “Composite Skill Lab”, said to be the first-of-its-kind facility in Udham Singh Nagar district aimed at equipping students with practical exposure to emerging technologies.

The lab was inaugurated by chief guest Pankaj Shukla in the presence of distinguished guests Dr. Amrita Sharma, Nirmala Bisht and Teju Baghel. School management members, teachers, parents and students attended the event in large numbers.

The newly established facility will offer practical training in aeromodelling, robotics, artificial intelligence, CNC machine operations, design thinking and DIY science projects. The initiative aims to move beyond conventional classroom learning and provide students with experiential education rooted in creativity, innovation and technical expertise.

Addressing the gathering, chief guest Pankaj Shukla said, “This is the era of technology, innovation and skill-oriented education. In the coming years, students who can think creatively, understand modern technologies and transform ideas into reality will lead the world. DPS Rudrapur’s initiative is visionary and highly commendable.”

He further said that fields such as robotics, aeromodelling and artificial intelligence are evolving rapidly across the globe and introducing students to these technologies at an early stage is the need of the hour.

In a joint message, school chairman Surjeet Singh Grover and vice-chairman Harman Singh Grover said the institution’s goal is not only academic excellence but also preparing students for future challenges through innovation and skill development.
